Mayor Inez Board
mayor@irvingtonky.org
I am honored to be in the position of Mayor in Irvington. Irvington
is a wonderful place to live and retire. We have such a great small
“hometown” and are proud to be a resident here.
I am so grateful to the people in Irvington who have faith and trust
in me. I am looking forward to |
|
working toward projects
and watch them come to fruition. Also, we have a lot to offer
in our small town that has such a BIG heart. We are fortunate
to be a railroad town that had Presidents of America and other
Dignitaries pass through Irvington by rail cars. We have a lot
of history behind our city.
We love to entertain our visitors that pass through our city.
We have a Railroad Festival that takes place in May; we also have
Irvington Elementary School Fall Festival in the fall, and one
of the biggest and best Christmas Parades in Breckinridge County.
We have many people come to our Christmas Parade from not only
Irvington, but also surrounding cities and counties. Our Christmas
Parade is always the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
Irvington is a place that is warm and friendly to all who come
our way. Please visit us and give us an opportunity to share our
warmth and friendly atmosphere with you. I am very proud to be
in a position to continue to be instrumental in being a part of
watching our city grow.
Come see us in Irvington and allow us to share our hospitality
and good wishes with you.
Inez Board
